Young Progressive’s Stellar Rise

Ruling Serbian Progressive Party official Relja Ognjenovic’s appointment as director of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance has given rise to a number of comments in the Serbian public questioning his competence for the job. The critics of the 32-year-old Ognjenovic rightly think that it was his membership in the Progressive party and his undying loyalty that got him the job, like in numerous other cases.
