PM Thanks U.S. on Tariffs Policy, Calls for EU's Clearer Stand

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic on March 10, thanked the U.S. and President Donald Trump’s administration on consistently abiding by what they say on the necessity for Pristina to lift the tariffs on the goods coming from Serbia. She also called on the EU to provide a clearer stand on the tariffs.


“It is a fully transparent and predictable policy and I thank the U.S. on that,” Brnabic said after a groundbreaking ceremony for future apartments intended for security forces personnel and commenting on the news that Washington had denied financial assistance to Pristina over the tariffs still remaining in place.


Brnabic further said she would like to see the EU finally reveal its policy on the tariffs. She noted that the clear policy on the tariffs, demonstrated by the U.S., would forestall all other moves that could additionally undermine regional stability and cooperation.
