On Nov. 20, members of the National and Provincial assembly continued their blockade of Novi Sad’s Courthouse and Prosecutor’s Office, demanding the arrest of those responsible for the city’s railway station collapse, which claimed 15 lives and left two people critically injured.
The representatives are further requesting that everyone arrested at the rallies following the accident be released from police custody.
At one point during the protest some of the assemblymen got into a shoving match with the police guarding the building’s entrance, causing several people to fall down, while Green Left Front MP Radomir Lazovic became unwell.
