Kosovo Premier Albin Kurti said on March 11, at an early session of the Kosovo Assembly, that there was an agreement ready between the Kosovo and Serbian presidents on Kosovo, and that what was happening now "is an attempt to break me and the government I lead."

"This is not about abolishing tariffs and starting a dialogue, but rather the two presidents (of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and Kosovo, Hashim Thaci) relinquishing the tariffs and the dialogue behind closed doors. I am convinced that there is an agreement ready, and what is necessary is for them to break the Kosovo government, to break me as the premier, so that (Thaci) can through secret negotiations gain the power to reach an agreement," said Kurti.

Kurti further said that "the secret negotiations never stopped" and that now, as premier, he had more information on that than before, when he had been just the leader of the opposition Self-Determination Movement.

Prior to the session, the Kosovo premier talked with the British minister for Europe and the Americas, Wendy Morton, about the government's plans and the dialogue with Serbia.
