Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on March 25 that the government will send planes for Serbian citizens stranded abroad twice a day.
He told Hepi TV that students, people undergoing medical treatment in foreign hospitals, and those stuck on foreign airports will have priority in being transported home.
The minister also confirmed the existence of the first coronavirus case in the government, that of Branislav Blazic, a state secretary in the Ministry of the Environment.
According to Dacic, Blazic comes from Kikinda, one of the towns that are hotspots of the infection in Serbia, and prior to showing any symptoms he was regularly at his workplace and in contact with colleagues.
According to media reports, all employees of the Ministry who were in touch with Blazic were sent to isolation, while Blazic was admitted to the Belgrade Hospital for Infectious Diseases.
