Covid-19 Case Count up to 4,054 in Serbia, 85 Deaths

Five people have died of Covid-19 in Serbia over the last 24 hours, making the death toll since the beginning of the epidemic 85, it was announced on April 13.

Vojvodina secretary of health Zoran Gojkovic said there were 424 confirmed new cases and that in total 4,054 persons had contracted the disease to date.

Hospitals are treating 2,890 of those patients, 138 of whom require assisted ventilation.

Gojkovic said makeshift hospitals in Belgrade, Nis, Novi Sad and Novi Pazar had a combined 867 Covid-positive patients with a mild course of the disease.
