The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs still has no information or official confirmation from Athens that Serbian nationals will be allowed to enter Greece no earlier than July 1, Ministry officials told BETA on June 15.

The Serbian citizens who had headed for Greece via Bulgaria told N1 TV on June 15 that they had been turned back from the border and told that they would be allowed entry no earlier than July 1, even though it had previously been announced that the Greek border would be open for Serbian nationals as of June 15.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on June 12, after a meeting with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias in Athens, that Serbian citizens would be able to travel to Greece without tests and other restrictive measures as of June 15.
