The Palestinian authorities have expressed gratitude to the states, religious and civil organizations and individuals who have voiced opposition to Israel's annexation of the West Bank.
According to the Palestinian embassy in Serbia, a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses "gratitude for the solidarity and support in defending the right of the Palestinian people to freedom, self-determination and justice."
"On behalf of the Palestinian people, Palestine wants to express its deepest gratitude to all states, parliamentarians... civil society organizations, religious leaders and institutions, legal experts, friends... who continue to be on the right side of history," reads the statement, adding that Palestine welcomes "the principled stance against the illegal annexation of occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem."
