Serbia is ready to agree to very big compromises in the dispute with Kosovo and wants to fully normalize its relations with Kosovo, and also believes in the European Union's capacity to find practical and creative solutions, Serbian Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starovic has said.

In an interview with Austrian news agency APA, Starovic said that Belgrade was ready for a dialogue with Pristina, but that the outcome must be a compromise.

"It must not be a game of all or nothing, where one side loses everything for the other to win everything. It has to be a compromise," said Starovic.

When asked about the war in Ukraine and Serbia's opposition to aligning with the European sanctions against Russia, Starovic replied that Serbia was ready to fully take part in the sanctions "once membership in the EU is in sight," i.e. several months before joining the EU.
