11 people died of the corona virus in Serbia in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of fatalities to 429, it was announced in Belgrade on July 15.
The provincial secretary for health of Vojvodina, Zoran Gojkovic, stated at the new conference of the Crisis Response Team in Belgrade that the corona virus was confirmed in 351 people out of 8,393 tested in the past 24 hours.
234 people are in hospitals, 169 of them on ventilators. A total of 515,395 people have been tested since the start of the epidemic in Serbia, with the virus having been confirmed in 19,334 people.
People aged from 20 to 49 account for almost 65 percent of the people currently hospitalized because the corona virus in Serbia, the deputy director of the Serbian Institute for Public Health "Dr Milan Jovanovic – Batut", Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, stated on July 15.
The Institute for Public Health in Novi Pazar announced on July 15 that there were 820 people infected with the corona virus in that city. They explained such a hike by saying that the results of the tests taken as long as ten days ago, on July 4, only arrived on July 15.a
