Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated on July 23 that Serbia honored the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but that nobody could restrict its right to support Republika Srpska (RS) and its existence.

"Serbia is the mother country, it guarantees the existence of the Dayton agreement, and that signature guarantees the existence of RS," Vucic said in his address of the people who gathered in front of the Clinical Center in Banjaluka. He said Serbia had the responsibility to help RS and be available whenever needed, and stressed the importance of the commonality between RS and Serbia, adding that the goal was "our unity."

During the visit to Banjaluka, Vucic presented the donation in the form of 15 ambulance vehicles for medical centers in RS, worth around EUR700,000. He also visited the facility in the Petricevac quarter, which consists of a kindergarten, a medical center and a community center, for which Serbia had designated EUR800,000.

Vucic also met with the top officials of RS. Besides Vucic, the members of the Serbian delegation were Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin, the minister for construction, transportation and infrastructure, Zorana Mihajlovic, and Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar.
