11 Die, 205 More Coronavirus Infection Cases In Kosovo

The National Institute for Public Health of Kosovo announced on Aug. 12 that 11 people died from COVID-19 in Kosovo in the past 24 hours, and that 205 new cases were registered.

The total number of fatalities since the start of the epidemic in Kosovo thus rose to 365.

So far, the coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 10,795 people, out of the 42,136 people who have been suspected of carrying the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The Institute announced that 163 patients were cured from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours and that a total of 6,411 people have been cured. There are 4,019 active cases, with Pristina still having the highest number of new infections – 45.
