Vucic to Propose New Prime Minister Designate at 8 p.m on Oct. 5

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will announce his candidate for Prime Minister of Serbia in the evening on Oct. 5.

According to an announcement issued by the President’s Office, after consulting with the representatives of the winning tickets and exercising his constitutional power, Vucic will propose his candidate for the new prime minister to the National Assembly of Serbia.

The president is scheduled to address the nation at 8 p.m.

A session of the Serbian Progressive Party Presidency is to take place in Belgrade earlier in the day, with the main topic being, according to the media, the appointment of the new head of the government.
