Pristina Portal: Kurti and Vucic to Meet Next Week in Brussels

The Pristina-based Gazetablic.com portal has reported citing international sources that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti will meet next week in Brussels.

According to the report, Vucic will travel to Brussels first, while Kurti will arrive there after the Serbian president. The possibility of the dialogue’s resumption and the creation of a framework for the process will be on the agenda of their meetings, the source said.

In the letters congratulating Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Kurti on their election, U.S. President Joseph Biden, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron also asked that the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia be continued.After Brussels, Kurti and Vucic are expected to arrive on an official visit to Paris during upcoming weeks, on invitation by the French president. According to the Gazetablic sources, the meetings in Brussels and Paris will deal with a new format of the Kosovo-Serbia talks, mediated by the European Union.
