Two people died from the consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of fatalities to 7,129, it was announced on Aug. 4.
According to figures of Serbia's Institute for Public Health, 10,710 people were tested and the presence of the virus was confirmed in 487 samples. There are 521 covid patients in hospitals, seven of them on ventilators.
Since the start of the epidemic, 4,708,532 people have been tested and 723,518 were positive for the virus.
