The president of the European Movement of Serbs in Kosovo, Rada Trajkovic, said that in Kosovo "every chance has been lost of having a democratic election of Serb representatives," adding that no one could expect that the Serb Ticket might not win it.
Trajkovic said in an interview with the Danas newspaper, published on Aug. 25, that among the Serb Ticket candidates there were "firefighters and waiters who are now university professors," adding that the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, "and his clique, humiliate the Serbs in Kosovo."
According to the veteran Kosovo Serb politician, "if a nation does not have intellectuals to be educated by the best, the individual can do absolutely anything using corruption or political affiliation."
When asked if the Serb Ticket is expected to have another landslide victory across the Kosovo Serb communities, Trajkovic said she would be surprised if anyone thought it would not. "The only way to get rid of the Serb Ticket is if Vucic steps down in Belgrade," Trajkovic said.
