Since the launch of Covid-19 inoculation in Serbia, a total of 1,175 adverse events had been reported, Jadranka Mirkovic from the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia said on Nov. 2.

“As of Nov. 1, we have received around 1,175 reports about adverse events, which is around one in six to seven thousand doses, depending on the time interval of  the tracked statistics,” Mirkovic told state public broadcaster RTS. She added that around seven million doses of Vocid-19 shots had been administered so far.

According to Mirkovic, the most often adverse reactions had been the expected ones and referred to redness, pain and swelling at the injection point, as well as exhaustion, temperature and headache.

Based on the adverse events reported so far in Serbia, Mirkovic excluded the possibility that the vaccine itself had been related to any fatality.
