Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on July 8 that the resolution on Serbia recently adopted by the European Parliament (EP) was a non-binding document, but also "a clear message first and foremost to the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija."

In an appearance on Pink TV, Brnabic said that the point of adopting such documents "is to constantly put pressure on Serbia."

"The EP resolution is wholly in line with the policy that states that the Brussels Agreement exists for Belgrade but not for Pristina. The signature of Brussels, i.e. Catherine Ashton is on that agreement. How can you ask something of Belgrade and for more than nine years you have not been able to ensure that an agreement comprising 15 items is implemented," said the prime minister.

She asked Brussels and Pristina, "Where is the Community of Serb Municipalities?"
