Ana Brnabic, who has been the prime minister so far, stands the best chance of becoming the new Serbian parliament speaker, daily Danas reported in its July 22 issue.
The newspaper says, citing its sources, that there was never a question as to whether Ana Brnabic would be given an important position in the future government.
"The only question is which [position], whether she will remain the prime minister or will be given some other high-ranking position," says Danas. The daily adds that it has not received official confirmation of the information from the Serbian Progressive Party or Brnabic's office, but was told that "everything will be known soon."
