The number of new coronavirus cases will continue to grow in Serbia, which is why all parts of the population with a compromised immune system need to get vaccinated, epidemiologist and member of the Crisis Headquarters for combating the coronavirus Predrag Kon said on July 22.
"Only the Omicron [variant] is present in Serbia now, a highly infectious virus... Those over the age of 65 with a weaker immune system should get vaccinated, I do not know what they are waiting for," said Kon.
He reiterated that the vaccine against the coronavirus was always good protection and that it was only a matter of trust in medical doctors.
