Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said that the Serbian Progressive Party was opening consultations on Aug. 8 on the election of Serbia’s prime minister designate.
“The internal party consultations will take two days, after which a new round of consultations with other parties will begin,” Brnabic said to journalists in Lapovo.
Brnabic, who is also a vice-president of the Progressive Party, expects that the name of the new PM-designate would be known in seven or eight days.
The outgoing prime minister said that a new pay and pension increase could be expected despite the challenges the country was facing, adding that a budget rebalancing bill was planned when the new cabinet was installed.
