Socialist Party of Serbia leader Ivica Dacic has said that candidates for individual posts or allocation of portfolios in a new cabinet have not yet been discussed with Serbian Progressive Party leader Aleksandar Vucic.
“We are expecting to continue cooperation with the Progressives,” Dacic told Belgrade daily Kurir.
According to Dacic, the two parties had agreed that they shared the same political goals, that they had been in power for ten years and that they were “proud of all achievements.”
Outgoing Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has confirmed that talks on formation of a new cabinet started on Aug. 8 in the ranks of the Progressives and are set to last two days, after which consultations with other parties will begin.
