Info Park, an organization that provides support to refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants, has announced that there are currently 6,000 migrants in Serbia and underscored that 500 new ones enter the country per day.

"There are 159 families and a total of 283 children in reception centers, 125 of them unchaperoned minors. Some 100 children are of school age, while 43 have been enrolled in school in Vranje, Krnjaca and Sid," Info Park representatives told BETA.

According to them, the number of unchaperoned boys has increased and so there are 58 male minors currently staying at the reception center in Presevo.

Where Ukrainian refugees are concerned, there are 78 migrants from that country at the center in Vranje.

Info Park said the authorities were "using" migrants, refugees and asylum seekers to increase the capacity of their institutions, but that the users of those services did not actually get aid.

The authorities "favor" people coming from Russia and Ukraine over those coming from the Middle East or Africa.
