A Serbian woman from Nis injured in the Nov. 13 bomb explosion in Istanbul underwent surgery in the night following the attack and has had the shrapnel successfully removed from her shoulder, Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic announced on Nov. 14.

“The tourist group from our country was lucky. They were a group of six from Nis, and the injured lady was at the front. She underwent surgery last night,” Dacic told Happy TV.

The minister added that he understands that the Kurds are a people without their own country but that Serbia could never support separatism, if the Kurds are truly behind the terrorist attack on the Turkish capital.
