The Serbian Energy Agency has approved a decision to increase electricity and gas prices as of Jan. 1, 2023, adding eight and 11 percent to power and gas bills, respectively, the RTS state broadcaster reported on Nov. 28.
According to the Agency, the households spending around 400 kilowatts a month will pay 300 dinars more.
Those using storage heaters, switching them on at night, will need to pay 1,000 dinars more, and those using a boiler system can expect their bills to go up by RSD1,600.
The Agency is obligated to inform citizens on any price increase a month ahead.
