Upon his arrival in Switzerland on Jan. 17, where he is to attend the annual World Economic Forum (WEF), Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that fight for political image of Serbia and new investments were the main reasons for his presence in Davos.
“Afternoon duties start already at 3 pm. Fight for political reputation of Serbia and new investments are the key reasons for attending again the event at this resort of luxury,” Vucic has written on his Instagram account.
During his three-day stay in Davos, Vucic will attend gatherings of leaders, including a session themed “Diplomatic Dialogue on the Western Balkans,” Vucic’s Office has earlier said.
According to the WEF website, on Jan. 19, Vucic will speak at a panel titled “Widening Europe’s Horizons,” together with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and the prime ministers of Albania and Ireland, Edi Rama and Leo Varadkar respectively. The annual WEF kicked off on Jan. 16 and will run until Jan. 20.
