A coalition titled “Serbia Against Violence,” consisting of the formal organizers of the protests, would win the support of 44.6 percent of Belgraders if elections were to be held momentarily, while 38.4 percent would vote for a coalition headed by Aleksandar Vucic, the STATA agency announced on July 5.

According to the results of a survey carried out in Belgrade, the opposition calling themselves statehood-oriented, consisting of the Dveri Movement, the Oath Keepers, the New Democratic Party of Serbia and the Movement for the Revival of the Kingdom of Serbia, would win 10% of votes, the chief researcher of the agency, Jovanka Vukmirovic, stated at the news conference, adding that these were the results obtained from people who said they would vote.

Speaking about the possible “Serbia Against Violence” coalition, she said that it would have a greater synergic potential and bring more than the sum of current ratings of individual parties. According to the poll, when running individually the Serbian Progressive Party would win the most, followed by other parties in this order: Freedom and Justice Party, Don’t Let Belgrade Drown, Socialist Party, New Democratic Party of Serbia, Ecological Uprising, Dveri Movement, Oath Keepers, Free Citizens’ Movement.

To the question about the “Serbia Against Violence” protest, 55 percent of Belgraders replied they supported it, 17 percent that they did not, while 28 percent said they had no opinion. Asked about the demands of the protests, the participants declared the most support to the ban on printed media which promote violence and primitivism, and to the abolishing of reality shows.
