The oppositional Serbia Against Violence coalition wants to overthrow the country’s constitutional order and move forward with even harsher violence than took place last night, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated on Dec. 25.
“They are disseminating disinformation to elicit anger among the public, [prompting people] to come to Belgrade from all over [the country]. This directly equates to undermining the constitutional order,” Brnabic told Happy TV, adding that said coalition “openly called for a civil war and [another] ‘Euromaidan.’”
According to her, for this segment of the opposition “the elections were a mere smokescreen, because they knew that they would lose so they’ve been gearing up for chaos all along.”
“We’ve notified the ODIHR, the OSCE [and] foreign embassies of what is building to happen. I’ve personally sent out information to the ambassadors [in Belgrade] and spoken with them. They responded that [this information] is nonsense fed to us by the Russian intelligence service. So what now?” Brnabic asked.
