The Regulatory Body for the Electronic Media (REM) published on Dec. 26 a monitoring report on the programs of selected offerers of media services during the election campaign from Nov. 1 to Dec. 14, 2023.
REM said in a statement that four public broadcasting corporation channels RTS1, RTS2, RTV 1 and RTV2 as well as four cable TV channels - N1, Nova S, Al Jazeera and K1 were analyzed. The body said that it had monitored Pink TV, Happy TV, Prva TV and B92 which are holders of national broadcasting licenses. REM said that the Aleksandar Vucic - Serbia Must Not Stop election ticket received the most airtime on RTS1 or 12.04 percent during the campaign, followed by Serbia Against Violence with 9.73%, Ivica Dacic - Prime Minister of Serbia with 7.86 percent, the Hope for Serbia with 5.53 percent, the National Gathering with 5.47 percent, the People's Party with 4.24 percent and We - The Voice of the People with 1.32 percent, while the other tickets were given less than three percent of total airtime.
It said that this included the Serbian president's appearances, along with ministers, the prime minister and other officials.
The Serbia Must Not Stop ticket was allocated the most airtime by RTV 1 (11.27 percent) and K1 TV (25.53 percent).
Serbia Against Violence received the most airtime on N1 TV (13.7 percent), and the Nova S and Al Jazeera cable television stations (11.66 percent and 19.12 percent).
