Serbian Progressive Party president Milos Vucevic said on Jan. 8 that the Aleksandar Vucic - Serbia Must Not Stop ticket would ask the president of the country for the mandate to form the new Serbian government, stating that the parliamentary majority was "clearly defined by the electoral will of the citizens."
Vucevic said the Progressive party would again apply the "inclusive approach" to forming the majority in the Serbian parliament, even though the electoral ticket headed by the party had 129 seats, "maybe even 130" out of a total of 250.
"First of all we will invite the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians to talks, and Bosniak parties. We'll talk with the Socialist Party of Serbia and the parties around it, too. Maybe some other ones, to see who shares the same values," Vucevic told Pink TV.
Asked about foreign interference with the election process, Vucevic said "one country" had "predominantly" committed it, and that the Security and Information Agency was preparing a report on the matter.
