Over the past seven years under Ana Brnabic as Serbia’s prime minister, the country’s public debt increased from EUR 24.2 billion to EUR 36.4 billion, says a vice president of the Freedom and Justice Party and the opposition party’s representative in the Parliament of Serbia, Dusan Nikezic.

"In that period, citizens borrowed EUR 12.6 billion, compared to EUR 6.8 billion before Brnabic took over. The official inflation rate was 47 percent in that period," Nikezic said in a release.

The opposition official underlined that in the same period, the number of newborn babies decreased by six percent, and over 400,000 people left Serbia for the European Union.

Nikezic believes that even the Serbian Progressive Party’s MPs "do not have a single good word to put in for Ana Brnabic, and they are merely using their parliamentary terms to insult the opposition, turning the Parliament into a political reality show.”
