The National Assembly of Serbia will convene to elect the country’s new cabinet on either April 29th or 30th, the Vecernje Novosti daily reported on April 25, adding that there will be no changes to the structure of the governing body, which in turn means no amendments will be made to the Law on Ministries.
The daily further claimed that the identity of potential ministers is being kept secret and will be announced by Prime Minister designate Milos Vucevic at a Serbian Progressive Party presidency meeting, likely on April 28.
The Socialists will be meeting over the weekend for the same purpose, it was reported.
In an evening statement on April 24 in Banjaluka, Vucevic, who is the outgoing minister of defense, said that the new Cabinet will be elected over the next seven days and that he expects the governments of Serbia and Republika Srpska to hold a meeting soon after
