European Union mediator in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak has called a meeting of the heads of the two sides' teams for the purpose of finding a sustainable interim solution for people affected by the Kosovo Central Bank's decision on cash payments, to take place in Brussels on May, European Commission spokesman Peter Stano said on May 13.
Speaking at a press briefing, Stano stressed that the EU expected both sides to exhibit flexibility and readiness to compromise.
He said the EU expected Pristina and Belgrade to reach a mutually acceptable solution that will be favorable for the people in Kosovo affected by the Central Bank's decision to ban the use of the dinar in cash payments starting May 13.
