Brnabic: Murder of RTS workers during NATO bombing a barbaric act

Today, Serbia is among a few countries in Europe with widespread application of digitalization, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has said, commenting on her cabinet’s two years in office. She said that since Jan. 1, Serbia had become one of the most competitive countries in terms of investments in intellectual property and research.

Commenting on criticism of government’s performance in an interview to TV Happy, Brnabic said she had not been much offended by insults labeling her as “a ficus,” but that abusive remarks about her family made by “civic elite” had been causing her ache. As regards reports that she will join the Serbian Progressive Party ranks, Brnabic said that she had enjoyed the Progressives’ support from the beginning.

As regards meetings with Kosovo Premier Ramush Haradinaj, Brnabic said that they would meet again in Poznan, Poland, during the annual summit within the Berlin Process on July 4 and 5, noting that Haradinaj had so far tried to behave correctly, but that she doubted his correctness. “Haradinaj has been trying to be exceptionally correct and I have also tried to apply the same approach. Today, I doubt his correctness and what I fear is that there exists no vision and that it only represents the lowest form of populist policy,” the prime minister noted.
