Prime Minister Ana Brnabic in Poznan, Poland, on July 5 said she had been informed by Kosovo Premier Ramush Haradinaj that the news on Pristina banning Belgrade officials from entering Kosovo was fake. “I am surprised with the fact that fake news in Pristina was spread by the advisors to the so-called foreign minister, but I am glad that it is fake as it reduces the tension in the region,” Brnabic told reporters after a working breakfast of Western Balkan prime ministers.
Brnabic, who is attending the sixth annual summit within the Berlin Process initiative for EU integration of Western Balkans in Poznan, said that trade between the countries in the region was declining first time in the last seven years, after reporting a constant growth since 2012. She described the working breakfast as “rather sincere and open.” Brnabic added that in a meeting with EU Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc in the morning on July 5, it was agreed that the seat of the Permanent Secretariat of the South East Europe Transport Community would officially open in Belgrade on Sept. 13.
Haradinaj has posted on his Twitter account a photo, saying: “In Poznan, Poland, before the plenary session of the Western Balkans Summit, discussing with the regional Prime Ministers.” Aside from Haradinaj, who is heading Kosovo’s delegation in Poznan, the photo also shows the prime ministers of Albania, Montenegro and North Macedonia, Edi Rama, Dusko Markovic and Zoran Zaev respectively, and Bosnia and Herzegovina Council of Ministers Chairman Denis Zvizdic.
