President of the Together for Serbia party Nebojsa Zelenovic on Nov. 15 condemned the media attacks on N1 TV Editor-in-Chief Jugoslav Cosic, saying that the attacks were organized and orchestrated at the Serbian Presidency.

"According to a tried and tested mechanism, anyone who dares to voice any kind of doubt or takes a critical look at the authorities becomes the target of the most brutal media vilification. The method has been brought to perfection - Vucic personally defines the target, enlists the help of paid journalists and analysts and then starts an avalanche of the most horrible untruths via free-to-air televisions and the entire yellow press. No one is spared - at one point even Novak Djokovic was a target, when he said something Vucic didn't like," said Zelenovic.

He said in a written statement that Cosic had become a target because he dared, as an independent journalist, to publicly ask questions about the current arms trafficking affair.

"Everyone knows that, just like everyone knows that the objective is to intimidate Cosic into silence. They don't understand that increasingly few people are scared, and Jugoslav Cosic in particular is not one of them," Zelenovic added.

In his opinion, the Krusik affair has seriously shaken up the regime, which is panicking because it cannot stop the avalanche that has been triggered. "Affairs from the defense industry and arms trading sectors, involving the very leadership of the state, are yet to shock the national and international public," said Zelenovic.
