European Parliament member Tanja Fajon responded on Dec. 16 to criticisms of bias from Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic by saying that she did not have time for anger at people who had low opinions of her.

Late on Dec. 15, Brnabic told Pink TV that Fajon "isn't particularly objective" because, a day ahead of an EP delegation visit to Belgrade, her EP caucus organized a debate for the Alliance for Serbia which included no diversity of opinion, only "all sorts of half-truths and pure lies."

"I don't have the time or the desire to be angry at or hate people who don't like me or think poorly of me. I'm too busy even to return the kindness to the people who support me and boost my energy. My advice for December is: a little more positive energy and respect," Fajon Tweeted in response to a video of the Serbian PM's statement posted to Twitter.

Fajon chairs the EP's EU-Serbia Stabilization and Association Committee and sits on the EP delegation that participated in the inter-party dialog between the government and opposition in Serbia on improving the conditions for a free and fair election.
