Three Chinese Companies Still Serbia's Biggest Exporters

Serbia's Authority to Protect Competition Approves Zijin's Takeover of RTB Bor Mines

Serbia's biggest exporters in 2023 were three Chinese companies - Zijin Mining, Zijin Copper and HBIS Group, the Ministry of Finance said on Feb. 22.

The value of Serbia's top 15 exporters' exports last year was  EUR7 billion. Zijin Mining from Brestovac exported EUR1.15 billion with of exports, followed by Zijin Copper from Bor with EUR746.3 million and HBIS Group, the owner of the Smederevo steel mill with EUR549.1 million.

The ZF company from Pancevo was fourth with EUR504.8 million worth of exports followed by the Prokuplje Leoni with EUR489.3 million. The list includes Tigar Tyres with EUR454.9 million, Bosch from Belgrade with EUR453.1 million, Henkel from Belgrade with EUR405 million and Yura from Raca with EUER394.3m.

The list of biggest exporters includes Naftna Industrija Srbije with EUR386.6 million, Hemofarm from Vrsac with EUR351.9 million, SCM Power from Belgrade with EUR298.3 million, Philip Morris from Nis with EUR288.7 million, Minth Automotive from Loznica with EUR277.9 million and the Valjevo Gorenje company with EUR277.5 million in exports.
