Offer Submitted to Lease Household Appliances Maker Obod

A consortium comprising Canadian healthcare products company Eviana Health Corporation, and two Montenegrin firms, Montenegro Bio Science and Ramel, has placed the best bid in a tender to lease assets of insolvent house appliances manufacturer Obod, published by the Cetinje city government, Podgorica daily Vijesti has reported. 

A commission responsible for collecting bids for the lease of Obod’s assets has unanimously established in a report on the review, assessment and scoring of offers that the consortium has fulfilled all the tender evaluation criteria, and that no other bid has been submitted. 

According to the bid, the Consortium will invest at least EUR10 million over the next 30 months from the contract signing and create at least 100 jobs. 

The commission has established that the bidder, in accordance with the tender specifications, has submitted a business plan envisaging that the consortium will pay 10 percent of its net profit to the lessor, which will be defined in a contract,” according to a statement from the Cetinje city government. 

The consortium has also proposed to pay a monthly fee of EUR55.001 in semiannual equal installments.
