The Serbian Progressive Party’s mayoral candidate in Serbia’s third-largest city, Dragoslav Pavlovic, was elected to office two weeks ago, at the end of a marathon inaugural session of the Nis City Assembly. Pavlovic, whose name hasn’t been connected to any scandal so far, succeeded Dragana Sotirovski, whose years in office coincided with a steep decline in the Progressives’ ratings.
