The Link Between State, Party, and Private Capital

Tatjana Vukic, a member of the Presidency of the Serbian Progressive Party and the owner of several companies, drew the attention of opposition supporters last week, when Marinika Tepic, a vice president of the Freedom and Justice Party, revealed that Serbian Minister of Environmental Protection Irena Vujovic owned shares in the company Vista Rica, which she had failed to report to the Anti-Corruption Agency. The announcement immediately shifted the spotlight to Tatjana Vukic, a co-founder and the owner of half of the shares in this alternative investment fund.
