A Poke in the Eye of Justice

University professor Vladan Petrov, known for his frequent appearances on TV shows in which he defends the Aleksandar Vucic administration and sharply criticizes its opponents, was picked last week as president of the Constitutional Court of Serbia. The appointment of Petrov, a professor at the Belgrade School of Law and a Constitutional Court justice for a number of years, means that Vucic has tightened his grip on the institution.
