Vaccine

President of the Party of Freedom and Justice Dragan Djilas on Aug. 3 called on the Serbian authorities to ensure that Serbian citizens get the same vaccines as those in the European Union.

"I ask that Serbian citizens be protected against the coronavirus with the same vaccine that will protect the citizens of Germany, citizens of France, citizens of Great Britain and other developed countries of Europe and the EU," Djilas said in a written statement.

"If they (in the EU) give that vaccine to their children, then that guarantees it really has no adverse effects, that it really has undergone all the tests," he said. Djilas further said that a week ago his party had requested from the European Commission to "include Western Balkan countries in the vaccine procurement package for the EU."
