Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic had a video-conversation on Oct. 21 with the deputy president of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, it was announced by the Presidency.
They concurred about the very good relations between Serbia and Russia in all fields of cooperation, especially stressing the good cooperation in all international institutions. Medvedev, who is also the president of the Unified Russia party, welcomed the policy of Serbia "which acts like an independent country and has friendly relations with Russia."
Vucic especially thanked for Russia's support in the preservation of Serbia's territorial integrity. Vucic and Medvedev also discussed the crisis caused by the outbreak of the coronavirus and ways to cooperate in that crisis.
