21 People Die of Coronavirus In Serbia, 1,592 Newly Infected

21 people died from the coronavirus in Serbia in the past 24 hours, while 1,592 people were registered as newly infected.

There are 4,206 patients currently being treated in hospitals, 162 of them on ventilators.

A total of 390,637 people have been infected with the virus in Serbia since the start of the epidemic, 3,965 of whom have died.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated on Jan. 28 that another 40,000 doses of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine and 9,800 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine would arrive in Serbia. The prime minister added that talks were under way with other manufacturers about obtaining additional doses of vaccines against the coronavirus.
