Thirty-Two More People Die from Coronavirus in Serbia, 4,769 Newly Infected

In the last 24 hours 32 people died from the consequences of the coronavirus infection, bringing the death toll since the outbreak of the epidemic to 4,966, said a press release on March 22.

According to the Institute of Public Health of Serbia data, 14,474 samples were tested and 4,769 of them were positive for the virus. There are 5,899 COVID-19 patients in hospitals, 368 more than on March 21, of whom 236 are on ventilators.

Since the start of the epidemic in Serbia 3,277,390 citizens have been tested, and the presence of the virus was confirmed in 555,897 of them.
