53 Die From Coronavirus in Serbia, 2,180 Newly Infected

53 people died from the consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of fatalities to 11,744, it was announced on Dec. 1.

According to information announced by the Serbian Institute for the Public Health,  2,180 new cases of infection were registered among the 16,034 tested people. There are 3,884 covid patients currently being treated in hospitals, 191 of them on ventilators.

1,257,025 cases of infection have been registered since the start of the epidemic in Serbia, among the 6,830,241 tested people.
