Srdjan Milivojevic, head of the Democratic Party Steering Committee, said on March 7 that the United for Serbia's Victory - Marinika Tepic coalition would post monitors to all 8,900 polling stations in Serbia for the April 3 elections.

Milivojevic told BETA that special focus would be placed on observing polling stations in Novi Pazar, Sjenica, Tutin, Priboj and Prijepolje, and in municipalities with majority ethnic Hungarian populations.

He added that, for voters from Kosovo and Metohija, voting in the April 3 election would be organized in the municipalities of Raska, Vranje, Kursumlija and Medvedja, stressing that the opposition would send monitors to these polling stations, too.

Milivojevic said there was no collaboration at this time with other opposition coalitions or parties about organizing monitoring at polling stations, but that he expected cooperation to be established in this area with the We Must coalition soon.
