International Tourism Fair

Gathering 350 exhibitors from 33 countries, the 44th International Tourism Fair is set to open at Belgrade’s World Trade Center in the evening of Feb. 22. This year, the event’s partnering country will be China.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will open the expo, which will feature first-time presenters Algeria, Burundi, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Namibia.

As the fair’s partnering country, China will be presenting its intangible cultural heritage through artifacts such as traditional Beijing silk dolls, Moon Rabbit sculptures, porcelain objects and figurines, and woodcarvings, as well as through contemporary cultural and creative products.

In coordination with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the expo will also host a meeting between representatives from China and leading travel agencies, associations, organizations, hotels, visitor information centers, transport companies and international tour operators.
