Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on May 12 that Serbia would most likely abstain from voting on a resolution on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia, slated to be adopted by the Council of Europe.

"A summit of the Council of Europe, chaired by Iceland, will soon be held to adopt a declaration on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova, and Serbia has filed a motion to add the text that the question of the integrity of all other CoE members was also being solved, which they took issue with," Dacic told Pink TV.

He recalled that Serbia had submitted an amendment to the CoE resolution calling for respect for the territorial integrity of all other CoE members. "We have nothing against their territorial integrity of Ukraine, but now Serbia has been forced to abstain from voting in Reykjavik," the Serbian foreign minister said.
